Birthday is a momentous occasion; it’s time to celebrate, reflect, and give thanks. Every moment, every day is a celebration at Mother’s Pride. The Birthdays of the August-born children were celebrated with love, laughter, happiness, music, and dance. The proud Prideens welcomed Mr. Barber to their class, who had come to help them dress up for the Birthday Party. Children participated in the pretend play of being a barber and worked their creativity and fine motor skills using his tools and getting ready to celebrate. Parents were mesmerized to see the video of the birthday children made as a surprise by teachers. Children made their birthday caps, masks and cakes using bread, searched for treasure hidden by parents, and danced with parents, grandparents, and siblings. The giggles and laughter could be heard even after the celebrations.
