‘Settling Time’ for new joinees at Mother’s Pride is about warmly welcoming the parents, sitting in a comfortable environment and spending fun time with the little ones who visit their first school. The main aim is to inculcate a sense of belongingness in the children so that they feel school as their second home. The theme of the day was planned as Magical World of Mother’s Pride and the Settling Zone was set up as per the theme. A ‘Magic Show’ was arranged for the little prideens in the settling area. Creativity Zone and Puzzle Solving Zone was also created for the children to engage them in different activities which in turn also develops interest for school. The settling period usually continues for one more day with the parents and a week to ten days in the classroom with the teacher.
