Knowledge of letters of the alphabet forms the basis of the English language and communication for a lifetime. Learning the alphabet as the foundation of the English language gives the advantage of knowing how letters and words are pronounced, how to think in the English language, and how to spell. Learning of the letter names motivates the children to discover more about the letters and about the words around them. Letter P was introduced through the story of Princess Priya, who lived in a Pink Palace with her parents. To further enhance the recognition and creativity, children were encouraged to colour the worksheets with letter P and related objects. Children enjoyed making peacocks with handprints and eating pizza during meal break with their friends and teachers. Introduction of a letter with activities that relate to the day to day life of children enables them to apply their learnings.
