Mother’s Pride, the most loved preschool in India, celebrated its Annual Fest at Sirifort Auditorium from 25-28th February 2016. The grand event was dedicated to Sparsh, an NGO that works towards the welfare of children with special needs and is promoted by the Marvel Group comprising of Mother’s Pride and Presidium.
Mrs. Sudha Gupta, Chairperson of Mother’s Pride and Presidium, and the Chief Mentor of Sparsh, graced the event with her presence along with some highly distinguished dignitaries, which included Mr. Sudhir Mishra, critically acclaimed writer anddirector; Mr. Anup Jalota, veteran singer and musician; and Ms. Sapna Awasthi, renowned playback singer.
Mrs. Sudha Gupta presented a cheque of Rs. 51 lakh in support of the cause on behalf of the entire Mother’s Pride family. These funds will be utilized to make each child of Sparsh Special School, independent and self-reliant.
This year’s annual day theme “Childhood: The Best Therapy” was dedicated to the little ones who fill our life with lots of love with their positivity, cheerfulness and innocence. Indeed childhood is the best therapy in the world and at Mother’s Pride annual fest it was recommended to everyone.
The children of Mother’s Pride left the audience spellbound with their enthralling performances. Around 20,000 parents witnessed the grand event. The vibrant costumes, striking stage presentations and speeches of the children further made their performances even more fascinating to watch. The programmes based on spirituality, parents, dance, sports, fashion, were some of the main highlights of the event. The narratives enacted by the children left the spectators applauding them.
Overall, the event was a huge success that created lasting memories for the parents.
