Today the branches of Mother’s Pride were decorated with diyas, candles, flowers, rangoli and beautiful hangings. There was plenty of excitement across, as they geared up to celebrate Diwali- the Festival of Lights. Dressed in their traditional attire, the children added color to the occasion. Teachers welcomed our Prideens with tikka and Diwali greetings. There was fun and festivity across the branch as it echoed with the laughter and excitement of our little wonders. Children gathered together for a special assembly. The occasion was commenced with an aarti. Teachers shared the significance of the festival with the little ones. They were taught to celebrate a safe Diwali. The assembly was marked by stage performances which included English and Hindi Speeches, rhyme by children and a group dance performance by the little stars. Children also decorated diyas with mirrors and glitters which were later given to them as gifts. Overall, the children celebrated the festival of lights with immense devotion and excitement.
