BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
A birthday is the first day of the 365 days full of happiness, love and fun! The Birthday Celebrations of our little bundles of joy have always been the most endearing event for us, filled with the cutest memories. The castle is decorated with balloons and the Prideens are warmly welcomed with their parents and grandparents. They rejoice the favourite day of the year with their peers and are blessed by their beloved teachers. So, put on your birthday caps, get the cake ready and pop some party poppers as we wish all our Prideens, a very Happy Birthday!
MOTHER’S DAY
A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one can take! No one more can understand a child’s love for his/her mother than us, which we host a very special celebration on Mother’s Day to uphold the beauty of the most serene relationship ever. This day is specially dedicated to all the mothers who play divine role in the lives of the children. The little ones express their love for their Mom’s and spend some precious moments with them.
BAISAKHI
The festival of Baisakhi is celebrated with a lot of jubilation in Mother’s Pride.The students excitedly welcome the first festival of the season and sprinkle bounteous fun in the corridors of the school decorated. They dress up in vibrant traditional outfits and charm everyone with their cute avatar. The highlight of the day is to witness them perform Bhangra and Gidda on fun dhol beats.
EID
Every religion has its own festival with merriments that tickle a child’s brain to understand the values and principles of the religion as well as add to their keenness to know the story behind celebrating it. Eid is one such festival when Mother’s Pride hosts an assembly to signify the culture of brotherhood, sharing and solidarity. The students excitedly wish each other ‘Eid Mubarak’ and relishes delicacies like seviyan and other sweets.
FRIENDSHIP DAY
It’s the friends we meet along the way, who help us appreciate the journey of life! The journey of our little Prideens has just begun and they are truly fortunate to have such wonderful peers to share their best moments with. On Friendship Day, our little bundles of joy celebrate their cute bonds and enliven the corridors of Mother’s Pride with love, laughter and togetherness. Prideens tie the most colourful friendship bands on the wrists of their buddies and also express their love and affection to the teachers!
RAKSHA BANDHAN
A sibling’s love is like blossoms in the garden of life, a forever promise of love and support.
Raksha Bandhan is an auspicious occasion to cherish sibling bonds tied with the sacred thread of love and care. Fostering the traditional values associated with this festival, our students celebrate the day with unparalleled joy. The girls excitedly tie rakhis on the wrists of the boys and receive lovely gifts in return. Sometimes, they also get an opportunity to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with eminent personalities and leaders of the nation.
INDEPENDENCE DAY
We truly believe that instilling a feeling of patriotism in the little hearts at a tender age plays a very crucial role in creating model responsible citizens. Thus, on Independence Day, the tricolour fills the air with the majestic unfurling of the flag. The Prideens sing patriotic songs as well as learn the importance of this day in the history of the free India.
TEACHER’S DAY
The teachers at Mother’s Pride leave no stone unturned to groom the children with utmost love and care. Teacher’s Day is that time of the year when the children innocently express their gratitude to the teachers for being their best friend, guide and a second parent. They dress up as their favourite teachers and enact their way of teaching. However, the cutest part of the day is when they present handmade cards to their beloved teachers.
JANMASHTAMI
‘Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki!’
This is a time when Mother’s Pride turns into Vrindavan and witnesses the leela of Lord Krishna. The little ones don the roles of Lord Krishna & Radha spreading a traditional vibe in the premises. They get together to for a pooja, rock the decorated cradle of ‘Laddu Gopal’ and play flutes with their unmatched cuteness.
GANDHI JAYANTI
“Where there is love, there is life!” - Mahatma Gandhi
The month of October commences with a very special day wherein the little Prideens reminsce the teachings of their dearest Bapu. With a special assembly they celebrate the work and life of the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Lad in little dhotis and chashma, carrying the lathi and moving the charkha, the Prideens truly bring the ‘Gandhian’ period to life. They also learn about the values and principles that lead them on the path of truthfulness and non-violence.
GANESH CHATURTHI
Ganpati Bappa Morya! Mangal Murti Morya!
How cute is it to hear echo this chant throughout the day on Ganesh Chaturthi! On this auspicious occasion, the students gather to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha with a special pooja. They perform dances on devotional songs and learn about the ten day festival commencing from ‘Ganpati Sthapna’ to ‘Visarjan’. And, who doesn’t love ladoos and modaks? The teachers distribute sweets to the Prideens and bless to always be happy and become successful in future.
DUSSEHRA
Dussehra - A time to conquer evil with good and welcome each day with love!
There is no better time than Dussehra to bring to life the glorious mythology of Ramayana and introduce the students to stories, traditions and customs associated with it. Our Prideens turn into Lord Ramas who defeat Ravana with all their strength and return to Ayodhya with happiness. They learn about how being good and truthful can help conquer any battle in life!
DIWALI
The echoes of the chants, the colours of the rangoli, the light of diyas and scent of sweets.. It’s a Happy Diwali at Mother’s Pride. How the little ones love to sprinkle colours to make rangoli and light diyas in the entire castle! The sparkly dresses of the Prideens add to the festive spirit of the day. They commence the day with a Lakshmi pooja along with their teachers and the Honorary Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. After which, they perform dances and participate in a lot of activities to celebrate essence of one of our favourite festivals!
GURPURAB
“Wherever the Protector of all keeps me, there is heaven.” - Guru Nanak Dev Ji
The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji is celebrated here with grandeur. The Prideens learn about the Sikh culture and also perform the rituals to mark this day. They also go to the gurdwara where the holy teachings from the Guru Granth Sahib are enshrined in their souls. Later, they joyfully relish the Kadha Prasad. It is a day to spread love, peace & harmony and our beloved students truly become messengers of the same.
CHILDREN’S DAY

At Mother’s Pride, our first priority is to ensure that we flourish every Prideen’s childhood with love, laughter and happiness. It ought to be to most treasured time of their lives and on Children’s Day, we simply walk that extra mile to let them know how special they are! The premises are decorated with balloons and the students are welcomed with warm hugs. They celebrate the spirit of childhood to fullest and also receive heaps of blessing from the Honorary Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta.
CHRISTMAS
Santa Claus is coming to town!
Children love angels and magic! For them, it’s no stretch to believe that they have heavenly guards with wings watching over them. Christmas is the perfect opportunity to address this belief of theirs and transcend them into a world of wonders. It is the perfect way to celebrate the cold winds and approaching holidays! On this day, children excitedly await the Santa Claus who gives them their desired gifts and the cute fairies sway their magic wand of happiness on them. They also revisit all the memories made throughout the year and welcome another yet full of love, happiness and prosperity.
LOHRI
The Lohri celebrations are packed with unmatched excitement and euphoria as it is the first celebration after the little wonders re-join school post the winter break. It is the cutest sight to witness little girls in their patiala salwars & parandas and the young chaps in dashing kurta pyjamas. Together, they sit around a bornfire lit up with the glow of new hopes and happiness. They also offer groundnuts, rewari and gajak to the God of fire and enjoy the day by singing and dancing on Punjabi songs!
REPUBLIC DAY
It’s a united country, a fusion of vivid languages and a proud flag, that aided the rise of India as a sovereign democratic ‘Republic’. Hailing the glory of this wonderful country, the toddlers celebrate the very spirit of patriotism on Republic Day. Not only do they strengthen their respect for the national flag, but also chant the anthem in their cute voices. The skies are filled with tricolours always and patriotic songs are played throughout the day which truly endorses that India is the most beautiful and zesty country to live in!
HOLI
Pichkari ki dhar, gulal ki bauchar, apno ka pyar, yehi hai Holi ka tyohar!
Celebrating the colours of childhood since over 20 years, we love to paint the town with all vibrant hues every Holi. Our cute Prideens truly look forward to celebrating the fun-filled festival of Holi at school. They simply love to play with fragrant floral colours along with their peers and warmly greet ‘Happy Holi’ to everyone. They are also educated about the precautionary measures to be taken while playing Holi. It is always the most cherished and colourful festival for all of them!
EARTH DAY
Lush grass, blue skies, fresh air and rippling streams. Let’s create a world of Green dreams!
In an endeavour to encourage the students to reflect on what they are doing and what they can do to make our planet more sustainable, Earth Day is celebrated with enthusiasm at Mother’s Pride. The little hands sow seeds to plant saplings and water them to do their bit as environmentally conscious citizens. This celebration not only enhances their socio-emotional and fine motor skills but also creates a generation full of nature lovers!
